About AGIS

All student members of the Inn automatically become members of AGIS. There is no entrance fee or subscription. A student committee is elected by secret ballot as early as possible in Michaelmas Term.The aims of AGIS are as follows:

i. to further, co-ordinate and represent the interests and activities of the students of Gray's Inn;

 

ii. to provide a medium for the communication of opinions between the students and the Bench of Gray's Inn and between the students of Gray's Inn and the providers of the BPTC;

 

iii. to promote co-operation among members for social, cultural and intellectual purposes.

Members of the AGIS Committee serve on the Student Affairs Committee of the Inn.

Gray's Inn students studying the BPTC at the provincial institutions are represented by an AGIS out of London Student Representative.
